Three Fires Council #127, Scouting America
For Arrowmen who are already Brotherhood and Vigil, Brotherhood Bash is an amazing opportunity to give back to the lodge by serving as a Nimat! Nimats are our guides during the Brotherhood presentation, along with that they help guide the converging Brotherhood members on their journey of what it means to obtain brotherhood and be sealed in the OA. Nimating also means that you get the amazing opportunity of meeting those new and old arrowmen who you may not have gotten the chance to meet before. So, if this sounds like something totally awesome (which it is), please hit yes when registering to be a Nimat! More information regarding Nimating will be sent out leading up to Brotherhood Bash!
Attention Arrowmen!
The Vigil Honor is the highest honor we have as a lodge to recognize our lodge members that best live out Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service in their daily lives. Over the past several years, we have continued to improve the Vigil nomination, election, and selection process to best recognize those most deserving of this high honor.
The most recent changes were announced at the January EBoard Meeting. The major changes are as follows:
-
The deadline for submitting all nominations is the March Eboard Meeting on March 19, 2026.
-
A Vigil Selection Committee will be made of 5-9 active youth arrowmen.
-
These youth on the committee must be approved by the Lodge Adviser and Supreme Chief of the Fire. Additional advisers and other adults will be included in discussions, but only youth may vote.
-
Vigil Selection Committee Members must agree to a Code of Conduct that states they will be open to all worthy candidates, not biased to any individual they know (i.e. friends, campers, chapter, etc.).
-
This committee will meet at a separate, in-person meeting in early April.
-
The committee will review a list of all eligible members in addition to those nominated.
-
The Vigil Call Out Ceremony will occur on the Saturday of Spring Fellowship.
-
The Vigil will be held that weekend going into Sunday morning.
-
There will be a Public Recognition Ceremony of the new Vigil Class at Breakfast on Sunday morning.
-
The presentation of the full class, certificates, and letters from the Friends of Treasure Island will remain at the Winter Banquet.
